At Amevian Home Care, we are fortunate to work alongside Caregivers who bring compassion, professionalism, and reliability to every Client interaction. For April 2026, we are proud to recognize Samina Nerstheimer, who goes by Sam, as our Caregiver of the Month. While April was Sam's very first month with Amevian, it quickly became clear that she is an exceptional Caregiver and a wonderful addition to our team.

Making an Immediate Impact

Starting a new position often comes with a learning curve, but Sam wasted no time jumping in to support several of our Clients. Her calm demeanor, kind heart, and professional approach have helped her build trust and meaningful connections right from the start. The feedback we've received has been overwhelmingly positive. Clients have consistently shared how much they enjoy working with Sam and appreciate the care and companionship she provides.

Dependable and Professional

One of the qualities that stands out most about Sam is her reliability. She communicates frequently and efficiently with our Care Management team, helping ensure that everyone stays informed and that our Clients receive seamless care. Just as importantly, Sam follows through on her commitments. When she says she will be there for a Client, she is there. That level of dependability brings peace of mind to both our Clients and our team.

Bringing Valuable Experience

Sam brings nearly seven years of caregiving experience to Amevian. In addition to her work with our Clients, she also serves the community as a Certified Nursing Assistant at a local hospital. Her healthcare background, combined with her natural compassion and professionalism, allows her to provide outstanding support while making Clients feel comfortable, respected, and cared for.

Although she has only been with Amevian for a short time, Sam has already demonstrated the qualities that define exceptional caregiving: kindness, reliability, communication, and a genuine commitment to helping others. We are grateful to have Sam as part of the Amevian family and look forward to seeing the positive impact she continues to make in the lives of our Clients.
