Nine Years of Experience and a Passion for Care
Velda joined the Amevian family in May 2026, bringing nine years of caregiving experience in both assisted living and in-home care. While her experience and dedication are impressive, it's her enthusiasm for bringing joy into the lives of our Clients that truly makes her special.
For Velda, caregiving is about so much more than helping with daily routines. It's about creating experiences, sharing laughter, and making every day something to look forward to.
Turning Ordinary Outings into Extraordinary Memories
Velda loves getting her Clients out of the house and exploring the community together. A trip to a local thrift store can turn into an afternoon of laughter as they try on outrageous hats, colorful scarves, and fabulous fur jackets.
With Halloween upon us, she had even taken Clients on outings to costume stores, enjoying the silliness and excitement of the season together.
Sometimes, the adventure is as simple as discovering a new park. Velda and her Clients might research parks throughout the area, set out to visit as many as possible, and then decide which ones deserve a spot on their list of favorites.
These aren't just outings. They're opportunities for connection, discovery, laughter, and making memories. Velda understands that living well means having something to look forward to, no matter your age.

It's no surprise that our Clients and their Families absolutely rave about her. Once they've experienced Velda's warmth, creativity, and enthusiasm, they can't wait to have her back!
